Create a Theater visualization system
A PLEX is immersive, theater-like environment that uses three or more screens. This unique configuration is similar to what can be achieved with curved screens, but provides several distinct features.
The unique features of a plex
The projected images are edge-matched, not blended, so each screen offers full projector resolution. This results in maximum detail across all screens. By tiling projectors on each screen or adding more screens, the resolution can be increased exponentially. The faceted configuration also allows for different images, even from multiple computing platforms, to be displayed on particular screens. The resolution on all or individual screens can be scaled higher by applying multiple, blended projectors on each screen.
USES
* Team and conference rooms
* Design review centers
* Museum, science center or educational settings
* Theaters and auditoriums
* Large scale video conferencing
* Any multi-media viewing application
BENEFITS
* View one continuous image at three times the standard resolution
* Side-by-side data comparison at full screen resolution
* Display data from two or more sources simultaneously
* Collaborate more effectively

Single or multi-projector overhead and wrap-around immersive dome-shaped screens deliver large panoramic images. Dome displays are similar to our CURV™ systems but the screens are more expansive, both vertically and horizontally, to create an even more immersive experience. Mechdyne can custom design a solution that will meet your individual or audience requirements.
Configurations to meet all your needs
Dome displays by Mechdyne can be configured in a variety of ways, including:
Hemispherical: A standard design orients the dome in a vertical position where the viewer is facing the screen, wrapping around the viewer's peripheral vision.
Overhead: The screen in this configuration is positioned horizontally (or near horizontal) above seated or standing viewers. A single projector can be used but multiple, blended projectors will create impressive, high resolution panoramic experiences.
Tilted: When space may not be available but a raised screen is best for the images and audience, tilting the display in front of the viewer can have a similar awe-inspiring impact. Viewers look up 15 to 45 degrees into wrap-around images creating an immersive theater experience.
